Osteria dell'Oca has a long history that dates back to the 15th century, when it was already operating as an inn for travellers. In 2004, owners Carla and Valeria thought to reconstitute Osteria dell'Oca, adding the adjective "antique" as a tribute to its origins.
The restaurant is located in Idice, a hamlet in San Lazzaro di Savena, inside an old farmhouse with simple yet refined decor, approximately 40 seats, and an intimate and familiar atmosphere. The menu includes famous first courses found throughout Emilia and Romagna, such as bolognese tortellini in meat broth, pumpkin tortelli "alla mantovana", tortelloni and tagliatelle with meat sauce, all of which follow Italian grandmothers' recipes.
As for the main courses, the restaurant offers meat of excellent quality prepared on the grill, such as sliced and fillet steak and much more. Finally, sample our excellent regional wines and homemade desserts.
